Cammino Naturale dei Parchi
The Cammino Naturale dei Parchi joins Rome to L'Aquila, winding through valleys and high altitudes in the central Apennines, crossing 42 villages between Lazio and Abruzzo.
Conceived by a group of technicians and park rangers from the protected areas of the Regione Lazio to facilitate, promoting slow tourism, the discovery of the inland areas,
parks and nature reserves, the villages of the Apennines and the rich biodiversity that characterizes those territories.
The route has been designed not only for experienced hikers, but for all those who want to live a beneficial experience for body and soul in contact with nature.
The route is therefore modular and is divided into 25 stages, divided into 4 weeks.
